Yes, as soon as your IV is in you can continue to work on your phone or laptop as long as you do not bend the arm that the IV is in.
Our IVs have many vitamins and minerals designed to help boost your health and wellness.
Vitamin C – an important antioxidant that is critical to your immune system and is naturally anti-inflammatory. Vitamin C is not created by the body, but is acquired through diet and supplementation.
B Complex – alcohol, over the counter medications, and many prescription medications can decrease absorption of B vitamins, leading to decreased energy and fatigue. Additionally, B vitamins are involved in intestinal immune regulation, thus contributing to the gut barrier function.
Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) – plays an essential role in red blood cell formation, metabolism, nerve function and production of DNA. Deficiency in B12 can cause fatigue and low energy.
Magnesium – an essential mineral that had previously been found in our enriched soils but due to agricultural changes, the presence of magnesium in our soils has been declining through the years at alarming rates. Magnesium deficiency overtime can cause irritability, insomnia, fatigue, muscle spasms, and abnormal heart rhythms.
Zinc – plays an important role for behavioral and mental function, antioxidant system, metabolism and immune system function. Zinc is not created by the body, but is acquired through diet and supplementation.
Our Medical Provider will go over your medications and health history to make sure the treatment is right for you. Treatments may not be suitable for people with heart, kidney or liver disease. Intramuscular injections or intravenous vitamins are intended to promote health but may have side effects. While chances of experiencing complications are small, it is the practice of our clinic to inform patients about them. These complications may occur at the injection site and include, but are not limited to soreness in injection area, lumps, nodules, welts, blisters, discoloration, shooting pain in injection area, and or burning pain which may last up to 3 months post treatment including but not limited to discomfort, dull pain, mild swelling, bruising, dizziness, or temporary worsening of existing symptoms. The puncture site of an IV or injection may bruise and leave pain for one to two weeks post treatment.
Depending on what benefits you’re looking for, our Nurse Practitioner will make a recommendation and review options with you prior to your treatment. Please ask questions where they may arise. If you have any past experiences with needle phobia, fainting or heightened pain response, please notify practitioners prior to injection so they may take proper precautions. If your physician or nurse does not explain the procedure, its benefits and risks to your satisfaction, please ask for more information.
